What’s your role at Alpha Agency?

Manager, Chief of Staff to Divisional Head. I have worked on a variety of client projects in the US covering brand, content & web design and implementation while also serving an internal operations role to support both the integration & growth of Alpha Agency as part of the Alpha Group.

What has been your journey to get here?

After moving from the UK on completing University,  I started my career with FactSet providing investment technology to financial service firms. I then joined Alpha FMC’s NYC office, and worked predominantly in our distribution practice servicing asset and wealth managers needs across data, tech & operating model transformations. I was fortunate enough to manage the integration of Alpha Agency (previously White Marble Consulting) into the wider Alpha Group business from pre acquisition to post and have been working within the Agency since.

What should people know about you?

Often confused for being Irish in NYC due to the sometimes hard to understand accent. I am an average footballer that is seeing his performance decline quite rapidly but still love to play weekly. My fiancé is from Montenegro, so I am learning her language (Serbo-Croatian) and have a relatively strong feeling that I am one of a very small few Serbo Croatian speaking Scots.

Other than your current role, what would your dream job be?

I think my dream job has changed as I have got older. It used to be a footballer but as it became clear I lacked the level of skill required to give that a go, it would now be based on my personal interests around brain science & biomedicine. So maybe something in that realm??!

If you were stuck on a desert island, what one luxury could you not do without?

My black lab, Bailey (at home in Scotland). While I don’t think his temperament would serve me well in any meaningful way given he is scared of almost everything, he would still be my first choice.

What is your go-to karaoke song?

Drops of Jupiter by Train. Crowd favourite. Universally liked and appropriate for all settings. Solid choice in my opinion.
