As we move into the new year, you might be wondering what’s coming to Beacon over the next 12 months. Our roadmap for 2026 focuses on strengthening and expanding our metrics, providing deeper insights within the platform, and enhancing the overall product experience through improved UX and UI.

So, what’s in store for Beacon this year?

Expanded Email Benchmarking

We are enhancing email benchmarking in Beacon through the integration of SendView.

By subscribing SendView to your email distribution lists, Beacon can automatically capture all outbound emails and benchmark them against peers – without manual setup or reporting.

New email benchmarks will include:

  • Volume of emails sent
  • Day of week and time of send
  • Subject line length
  • Email length
  • Key technical attributes

This will allow for more consistent, comparable email benchmarks across the Beacon community.

Broader Metrics Across Channels

Beacon will expand on and introduce new metrics across the following areas:

SEO & AEO

  • Expanded SEO metrics using Matomo and SEMrush
  • Introduction of AEO-focused insights to reflect changes in search behaviour

Email

  • SendView-powered email analysis embedded directly in Beacon

Website

  • Additional Matomo metrics, including new vs returning users
  • Engagement by acquisition channel
  • Product pages categorised by asset class for improved peer comparison

Funnels & Campaigns

  • Thought leadership to product funnels built in Matomo
  • Funnel-based charts ordered by stage
  • AI-generated insights to highlight performance trends
  • Improved campaign identification across channels

Wealth Insights

  • Enhanced segmentation by region, client type, and content type

Digital Surveys

We will begin sending short, regular surveys to the Beacon community to capture insights on:

  • Digital marketing priorities
  • Industry focus areas
  • Current challenges
  • Martech stack usage

These surveys are often conducted ahead of Digital Leaders events, with the results used to shape discussions and ensure each event is as relevant and valuable as possible.

UX/UI and Design Improvements

We are making targeted improvements to Beacon’s UX and UI to make the platform:

  • Easier to navigate
  • More intuitive to use
  • Cleaner and more modern

A key change will be an improved Overview page, which we’d like to function more as a homepage, surfacing:

  • Product updates
  • Upcoming events
  • Product roadmap progress

Summary

In 2026, we aim to deliver:

  • Stronger email data
  • More metrics
  • Better visibility of how the product is evolving
  • A simpler, more usable interface

All the best,
Your Beacon Team
